This Site is predominantly for use by authorised users who are registered with CERT Australia. The majority of the pages on the site are only accessible by authorised users (‘restricted pages’). Publicly accessible pages contain general information which is also available on www.cert.gov.au
Registration and provision of access to restricted pages will be at the sole discretion of CERT Australia. If You wish to become an authorised user, please contact CERT Australia via the ‘Contact Us’ link
An authorised organisation may have a number of authorised users who will all be issued with their own unique username and password.
Users will be required to provide a valid email address issued by the approved organisation, which is used to confirm the validity of the registration, as well as to enable the provision of new passwords where necessary. Generic or personal email addresses will not be accepted for registration purposes.
The approved organisation is responsible for notifying CERT Australia whenever an authorised user leaves their organisation or will be on extended absence (more than three months). CERT Australia will cancel the authorised users’ access to the Site from the date of notification.
If You are granted access, You will be provided with a unique username and password. Only You are authorised to use Your username and password. You must ensure that Your username and password are kept secure at all times and you must not disclose it or allow another person to use it. If You forget your username or password, please contact CERT Australia by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
If You are not an authorised user, You can only view the publicly available information on this Site.
When accessing this Site, unless You have been authorised as a power user, you are only authorised to access information that is relevant to Your own approved organisation.
Whilst extensive safeguards have been built into the Site, if You are at any stage able to access information not relevant to Your organisation, You must immediately stop using the Site and contact CERT Australia.
The names of most approved organisations are listed on the AISI website, however, some organisations have joined on the proviso that their identities are not revealed. You must not do anything to identify approved organisations whose names are not publicly listed. If you would like access to the name of an approved organisation not publicly listed, you must contact CERT Australia. If you are aware that a name has been disclosed, please contact CERT Australia immediately.
